Art Guidelines

Please review these guidelines before designing your work and contact us if you have any questions.

Whether you are MAC or PC based, we are able to accept your graphic files if you meet the requirements listed. To ensure this and avoid delays or art charges, please adhere to our specifications. If your art does not comply with these requirements, quality may be an issue or charges may incur.

FORMATS WE PREFER:
-Adobe Illustrator CS6 or lower (.ai, .eps)
-Adobe Acrobat or PDF (Vector format)
-EPS
-Adobe Photoshop (.ps, .eps)

*NOTE: Vector art is preferred. It provides the best quality and allows images to be resized without loss of sharpness and detail. 

OTHER FORMATS:
-JPG
-PDF
-PNG
-TIF
-Fax or original hardcopy
-Sketches 

*NOTE: We do accept simple sketches that are scanned in. If you are scanning the images, please scan them at the largest possible size to ensure the best reproduction and recreation or your art. This will prevent loss of qualityPlease try to take a clear and bright photo.

ART GUIDELINES:

*NOTE: Copywrite or Trademark images can be used on apparel or items only if permission is granted by Copywrite or Trademark owner. 

COLORS: Please provide any Pantone Colors, CMYK builds or color preferences.

*NOTE: Color(s) in catalog are printed only and may not be an exact color match to the original product or ink color(s). The color(s) viewed on your computer screen may not be an exact color match to the original product or ink color(s) due to varying computer monitor calibration. Additionally, what you print on your ink jet or color laser printer may not match the intended product or imprint color(s). We will work with you to ensure the color(s) you want are the colors that print on your product(s). 

 ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR:
-Convert all text to outlines, curves or paths (VECTOR) in your document
-Please provide any fonts files required for your design or font names if you are unable to supply the font file
-Please send all files associated with your artwork. (ex: When linked files/photos are used, please send the linked file along with your artwork.) or send them as a separate attachment
-Please use CMYK or Pantone Colors for accurate color matching
*Avoid very fine lines, both in type and illustrations

GRAPHICS:
Any bitmap graphics (photos) that are part of your design must be 300 dpi or greater or at the size it will be printed. If your graphic art does not comply with these requirements, quality may be an issue.

*NOTE:  web graphics are usually low resolution bitmaps and will very seldom work well for printing. Please contact us with any questions on photos or Photoshop art.  

ART CHARGES:
In some instances, an art charge will be incurred if we determine the art will take longer than the allotted time for re-creation. We will inform you of this charge before any artwork is re-created.

How to Order

Our sales person will guide you in choosing the right product(s) that fit your needs. Once you narrow down your choices, the sales person will work up a price quote. Your design ideas will then be sent to the art department to begin the creative process of your order. 

 

Please allow us 2-3 weeks notice before your event to process your order and meet your deadlines.
